In high school, I built some of these Volkswagen Notchbacks, which Volkswagen never imported to the USA. Usually, they were all imported by private citizens, usually armed service personnel who will were stationed in Europe and would transfer back to the USA.

This one is the new current project and is 1964 N model which was the base model with not alot of chrome and minamul options. Here and Checkeredstrip it will be fully torn down and rebuilt into a 1980’s style of customizing call the “Cal Look” with bright paint and large engine.
